Man, being with Dick, I feel really contented, and as close to being happy (or some version of happiness) as I can get. I mean, yeah, he does care. That's why.

What Gwen said about me clinging on to people is right, in a sense. For those whom I haven't known well, known deeply, I don't need them emotionally. Like S., for example. She might consider me a friend, but to me, she's still on the border between an acquaintance, and a more familiar acquaintance. I don't depend on her emotionally (what she says about me doesn't affect me).

But because Dick and I practically grew up together, we've got a very intimate bond there as brother and sister already. Just that alone has made me feel good with him, as my brother. Take it one more step to what we have now, and the feeling is deep, is real, is enough for me not to seek out anyone in the physical world.

I love this feeling. =)
